Flybe has brought forward the delivery of the first aircraft to the Spring of 2011.
July 26: Hot on the heels of its announcement of a major order for Embraer’s E-175 at Farnborough last week, Flybe has brought forward the delivery of the first aircraft to the Spring of 2011.
The aircraft will be based at Guernsey in the Channel Islands and used on its London Gatwick service. Eight flights a day will be offered between the island and the mainland.
Mike Rutter, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer said “We’ve pulled out all the stops with Embraer to bring forward the delivery of the first of our new E-175s. We have long been aware of the demands for a regular jet service to and from London Gatwick and Guernsey. We pride ourselves on always listening and responding to our passengers’ business and leisure travel needs.”
